Philosophy
As a daycare and place of learning, our work is to help assist you, as parents, in your child's developmental growth process by providing a place of intelligence, faith and character in an environment that is nurturing, safe and loving. Our realistic Educational Goals for Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are as follows: To help the child develop a positive self-identity. To help the child achieve intellectual and spiritual growth. To help the child enlarge his/her world of people, experiences, ideas, and things. To help the child increase competence and skills to grow in reading, listening, thinking, and speaking. To help the child increase the skills involved in physical coordination. To help the child increase competence in dealing with emotions, feelings and social situations. To help the child increase in competence in behavior, attitude and choices. To help the child develop cooperative trusting relationships. To help the child develop his/her natural creative potential.
Health & Safety
Handwashing:
We wash hands at various times throughout the day; beginning of day, after play-inside and outside, before and after meals and after bathroom use.
Illnesses:
We ask parents to keep sick children home. If your child becomes ill while at daycare, appropriate procedures are enforced, and parents are called immediately.
Fire Drill:
Done monthly​. Carbon monoxide and fire detectors installed and checked regularly.
Inclement Weather:
We follow the local news and make decisions that's best for safety of parents and children. Email and update to website will detail decisions of any or all closings.
